The 802BT-CASS test instrument provides the necessary video outputs for the CASS program including: analog component, analog composite and EGA. All the required video resolutions (timing formats) and test patterns are available with the 802BT-CASS for the CASS program.
Control is through the front panel knobs and LCD or serial command line through RS-232 or GPIB.
Note: The 802BT-CASS, with Firmware version 7.48319455, is form, fit and function to its predecessor The Teledyne LeCroy quantumdata 802GX.
The 802BT provides the following features:
- DTV signal capabilityy – Pre-programmed standard DTV formats are ready for immediate use. Digital outputs support YCbCr color encoding. Analog outputs support tri-level composite sync and YPbPr.
- 200MHz analogy – Analog component output offers 200MHz pixel rate.
- Programmable video settings – Select RGB, YPbPr video type and sampling.
- Self-calibrating – Analog video outputs are automatically adjusted against an internal precision reference. This assures video levels that are precise and reliable. Signal levels are auto-adjusted individually.
- RS-232 Interface – Industry standard serial interface.
- Built-in formats – Over 250 popular video formats are built-in including VESA, ATSC, EIA-770.x, SMPTE 170, 240, 267, 274, 293, 295, 296, Australian, EIA/CEA-861D, NTSC, NTSC-J, NTSC-443, PAL, PAL-60, and PAL-N.
- Library of common test patterns – Over 300 built-in test images let you accurately adjust a display or projector to the same accuracy as the original factory settings. Images test color, size, linearity, convergence, focus, persistence and more.
- 24-bit pixel depth – 8 bit per component color depth.
The 802BT-CASS provides the following options:
- TV option.
- With CVBS and S-video outputs.
- LVDS.
- Supports OpenLDI LVDS up to 224 MHz.
- OPTF16 Option.
- 2V swing on analog output.
- IEEE-488.
- GPIB (IEEE-488) interface.
- BNC.
- Component outputs (VS, HS/CS, B, G, R)
