Teledyne LeCroy products provide a variety of manufacturing test solutions for HDMI. The following products support manufacturing testing on production lines for HDMI products.

  • M41h 48G Video Analyzer/Generator module for HDMI Testing. The M41h 48G Video Analyzer/Generator for HDMI Testing provides the deep analysis test features necessary to test the development of your HDMI 2.1 source device at data rates up to 48Gbps. Deep analysis enables you to identify and resolve interoperability problems early in the product life cycle. The M41h also supports video generation of FRL streams to test FRL-capable displays. The video generator enables you to run functional tests on FRL-capable display devices by rendering uncompressed, unencrypted FRL streams at up to 8K video resolutions at lane rates up to 12Gb/s and at an aggregate link rate of 48Gb/s.  The enhanced full video generator function for TMDS and FRL supports free selection of specific video formats (including 8K), colorimetry, bit depth, chroma subsampling and test patterns. Fixed Rate Link (FRL) source and sink compliance tests are also now supported.
  • 804 Video Generator. The rack mountable 804 Video Test Generator supports HDMI testing at pixel rates up to 165 MHz and TMDS rates up to 225 MHz for deep color on the output. The instrument provides RGB and component analog outputs as well as composite video. The 804 offers an extensive library of format timings and provides standard test patterns and protocol test images (EDID, HDCP, CEC) necessary for testing HDMI 1.4 HDTVs. The 804 Video Generator also provides RGB and component analog outputs up to 80 MHz pixel rate as well as composite video. The module and its functions can be controlled through the command line via USB or RS-232 for control from an automated test system (ATS).
  • 804B Video Generator. The rack mountable 804 Video Test Generator supports testing of 4K Ultra HD HDMI 2.0 devices up to pixel rates of 600 MHz at 50/60Hz frame rates. The instrument provides RGB and component analog outputs as well as composite video. The 804B offers an extensive library of format timings and provides standard test patterns and protocol test images (EDID, HDCP, CEC) necessary for testing modern HDMI displays. The 804B Video Generator also provides component analog outputs up to 80 MHz pixel rate and analog RGB video at 162MHz pixel rate. as well as composite video. The module and its functions can be controlled through the command line using either USB or RS-232 interface for control from an automated test system (ATS).
  • 802BT Video Generator. Offers testing of HDMI up to 165 MHz or DVI single link testing. The instrument supports testing analog displays up to 200 MHz.

  • 881E-DP Video Generator. The 881E-DP Video Generator offers a cost effective solution for testing DisplayPort 1.1 displays on manufacturing production lines. The instrument is equipped with an extensive library of video timing formats and test patterns for testing on manufacturing production lines. It can be controlled either through the front panel interface or through the command line via a telnet over the network connection for control from an automated test system (ATS).

  • 881D video test Generator. Offers manufacturing testing on production lines for displays with high speed analog inputs. The 882D is well suited for your manufacturing environment supporting RGB analog output up to 400MHz pixel rate. It is offered at a competitive price and is equipped with test automation features and pattern generation functions necessary for manufacturing.
  • 802BT Video Generator. Offers testing of HDMI up to 165 MHz or DVI single link testing. The instrument supports testing analog displays up to 200 MHz.
  • 804 series Video Generators. The 804 series video generators are rack-mount or desktop video generators primarily intended for testing HDTVs in manufacturing. They provide basic functional and interoperability testing for HDMI, DVI (single link) and analog composite, component and RGB. They can be controlled either through the embedded touch screen display or through the command line via USB or RS-232. Alternatively, an optional programmable keypad can be attached to the USB Port or RS-232 port for keypad control.
