The Teledyne LeCroy 780 series test instruments offer a rich feature set for a variety of applications including video installers, engineers and for the military testing:

  • 780 Handheld Test Instruments. The 780 handheld test instrument for HDMI® is a battery-powered, portable video and audio generator and HDMI analyzer that enables you to conduct quick, on-site verification testing and troubleshooting of your HDMI system and analog video displays. The 780 instrument is equipped with both a reference HDMI source and a reference HDMI sink interface allowing you to test audio, video and HDMI protocols—HDCP, EDID, CEC & infoframes—of any type of HDMI device: sources, repeaters and sinks. The 780 supports HDMI testing at pixel rates up to 165MHz and TMDS rates up to 225MHz for deep color on the output and pixel rates up to 150MHz on the HDMI input.
  • 780AH Handheld Test Instrument. The 780A Video Generator / Analyzer is a battery-powered, portable video and audio generator and HDMI analyzer that enables you to conduct quick, on-site verification testing and troubleshooting of your HDMI system and analog video displays. The 780 instrument is equipped with both a reference HDMI source and a reference HDMI sink interface allowing you to test audio, video and HDMI protocols—HDCP, EDID, CEC & infoframes—of any type of HDMI device: sources, repeaters and sinks. The 780A supports testing at pixel rates up to 300 MHz for testing 4K Ultra HD HDMI 2.0 devices at 50/60Hz using 4:2:0 pixel encoding on sources and sinks
  • 780BH Video Generator / Analyzer. The 80B Video Generator / Analyzer is a battery-powered, portable video test instrument that enable you to conduct quick, on-site verification testing and troubleshooting of your HDMI system and analog video displays. The 780B supports all the features of the 780A including 300MHz on the HDMI Tx and Rx ports for testing of 4K Ultra HD HDMI 2.0 devices at 50/60Hz, but adds a larger screen (7 inches) for greater convenience in viewing analysis test results as well as a status bar on the bottom of the display for at-a-glance status on the HDMI Tx and Rx ports. The instrument supports testing of HDMI 2.0 devices including tests for 4:2:0 pixel encoding on sources and sinks, EDID emulation for testing HDMI 2.0 sources and distribution devices and tests HDMI 2.0 sinks with 21:9 formats.

 

 

 

 

The 881 series video generators offer the 882 series rich feature set for military applications:

  • 881E Video Test Generator. The 881E Video Test Generator is available for manufacturing testing on production lines. The 881E is well suited for your military application whether testing HDMI or analog interfaces. It is equipped with automation features and pattern generation functions necessary for military testing. The HDMI transmitter supports advanced features such as 12-bit/component deep color and HDMI 3D and operates up to 225 MHz TMDS rate. The instrument is also equipped with 250MHz analog output and composite analog for NTSC and PAL testing.
  • 881D Video Test Generator. The 881D Video Test Generator is available for manufacturing testing on production lines. The 881E is well suited for your military application whether testing HDMI, dual link DVI or analog interfaces. It is equipped with automation features and pattern generation functions necessary for military testing. The HDMI transmitter supports advanced features such as 12-bit/component deep color and HDMI 3D and operates up to 225 MHz TMDS rate. The DVI output supports both single link and dual link DVI. The instrument is also equipped with 400MHz analog output and composite analog for NTSC and PAL testing.

The 802 series instruments supports testing a variety of displays including military displays:

  • 802BT Video Generator. Offers testing of HDMI up to 165MHz or DVI single link testing. The instrument supports testing analog displays up to 200MHz.
  • 802BT-CASS Video Generator. The 802BT-CASS test instrument provides the necessary video outputs resolutions and test patterns for the CASS program.
  • 802R Video Generator. Offers testing of HDMI up to 165MHz or DVI single link or dual link testing. The analog component output provides 300 or 400MHz pixel rate outputs.

 

 

The 701A Video Generator supports testing a variety of displays including military displays:

  • 701A Video Generator. Offers testing of DVI single link displays as well as RGB analog, component analog and composite video.
